GINGER ADAMS OTIS has been writing about New York City and local politics for more than a decade. She is a staff writer at the NY Daily News. Before joining New York’s Hometown Newspaper in 2012, Ginger worked at the NY Post, where she covered all kinds of local, national and international stories.
Ginger originally started reporting on City Hall and the Fire Department when she worked for The Chief-Leader, a broadsheet dedicated to municipal issues and organized labor in NYC. She’s also been a radio and print freelancer for WNYC, NPR, the Associated Press, BBC, National Public Radio, The Village Voice and other national publications. Originally from New Hampshire, Ginger now lives in Harlem, NY.
